Firmware update

The module is equipped with the possibility of firmware updates. Firmware is delivered in form of a .bin file.

To conduct the firmware update:

  1. Go to the Administration tab.
  2. Select Enable TFTP Bootloader.
  3. Start the Windows command line (Start > Run > cmd > Enter).
  4. Go to the catalogue where the .bin file is located.
  5. Type in the command: tftp -i <ip_address> PUT file.bin, where:
    • <ip_address> is the module's IP address,
    • file.bin – firmware update file.

Information

- The programming takes around 2 minutes to complete.
- File transferred confirms that programming is completed.
- It is recommended to revert the device to factory settings after a firmware update.**
