Firmware update

The module is equipped with the possibility of firmware updates.

To conduct the firmware update

1. Power the device up in bootloader mode:

• Disconnect the reader from the PC,
• Place a jumper on the Boot/Rst connector,
• Connect the reader to the PC. The power LED should flash around 4 times a second.

2. Run the Inveo RFID Config program as an administrator.
3. Go to the Programmer tab, set the cursor in the field shown below and press Ctrl + Alt + P.

4. Open the FIRMWARE list, select FILE.

5. Click Update and locate the firmware file. A new dialogue window will appear after clicking Open.
6. Click OK in the dialogue window.

7. A successful upgrade process will generate the following sequence of notifications:

- Connecting...
- Erasing...
- Programming...
- Programming completed. Application started.

8. Remove the jumper from the Boot/Rst connector.
9. Revert the device to factory settings by clicking Reset to DEFAULT.
