Inveo Card Manager

This manual applies only to the program version v0.54 onwards. Inveo does not guarantee that the information contained in this document applies to previous firmware revisions.

Purpose of the application

The application is used for uploading/downloading card data for RFID IND, RCP or TAB readers.

The program can be used both on Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.

Program configuration

After running the installation program, follow the instructions shown on the screen.

  1. Section containing information about the reader connected with RFID-card Manager,
  2. Reader data,
  3. Logs section,
  4. Function buttons:
    • Load from bin file – This option allows the user to upload card data in form of a .bin file,
    • Download from device – Function enables download of card data (ID and assigned names) from the reader to the RFID-card manager software,
    • Open CSV file – Upload RFID card data from a csv file,
    • Save to bin file – Save card data from the table to a .bin file,
    • Upload to device.
  5. Displays the data uploaded to RFID-card Manager (from the reader or from a file),
  6. RFID standard selection fields.

Reader data

To establish a connection between the reader and RFID-card Manager, firstly input the reader data.

  • IP Address – IP address of the reader,
  • User – Factory setting: admin,
  • Password – Factory setting: admin00,
  • Select the RFID standard (Unique, Mifare or iClass).

Using the RFID-card Manager software

Copy data between reader A and B

  1. Run the RFID-card Manager software and input reader A data (IP address, user name, password; consult the chapter Reader data).
  2. Download the data from reader A using Download from device.
  3. Input reader B data.
  4. Upload the data to the reader B.

Upload reader data from a file

  1. Prepare the data file. It can be saved in .csv or .bin formats.
  2. Run the RFID-card Manager software and input reader A data (IP address, user name, password; consult the chapter Reader data).
  3. Upload the data file to RFID-card Manager. Depending on the format, click:
    • Load from bin file.bin file extension,
    • Open csv file.csv file.
  4. Upload the reader data to the device.

CSV file structure

The CSV file uploaded to the device should contain two columns separeted with semicolons (;):

  • CardId – Card numbers in hexadecimal (HEX) format,
  • CardName – Card user data (name).
